HCP believes in proactive management of the contract on site, employing professionals with a track record in project and interagency management, able to form productive working relationships with clients one to one, ranging from board members to patient representatives.

HCP aims to appoint a General Manager to be part of the team shortly after reaching preferred bidder stage who then is on site from financial close through construction to operations. Typically our senior staff will have previous health care experience of running large business operations and therefore understand the particularly complex elements involved, for example, in delivering acute and psychiatric health care and the need for construction and Facilities Management services to be focused in support of clinical priorities.

During construction HCP will generally appoint a senior construction Project Manager to interface between the clients, construction and FM companies and Technical Advisor and independent certifier to represent the Project Company and ensure successful completion of the building phase.
