Construction supervision

HCP’s Construction Supervisors ensure that all major parties involved in the construction process liaise and work together to achieve completion in harmony on time and to cost and quality objectives.

In the bidding and pre financial close period, HCP will assist in the due diligence of the construction related documents by comparing the Project Agreement requirements and those of the Building Contractors’ proposals and schedules.

In the early stages of Design Development HCP work with service providers to ensure the design process reflects client expectations including; Lifecycle factors, and review of key areas such as energy performance, environmental issues, fire protection, access and security. HCP ensures that the design and build obligations are managed effectively, with emphasis upon the Health Authority’s Direct Contract Works / Suppliers and the Hard and Soft FM Sub-contractors and the inter-relationships between all parties. HCP Canada will monitor performance to ensure contractual commitments and programmed milestones are met and fulfill the design and construction specifications.

HCP represent Project Company’s interest on site and liaise closely with the Contractor, Independent Tester and the Health Authority regarding handover protocols, procedures and commissioning programs.
